Bethesda MD, December 2017.   ASHP’s sixth edition of Extended Stability for Parenteral Drugs, by Caryn Dellamorte Bing and Anna Nowobilski-Vasilios, covers all aspects of determining stability, including the changing elastomeric landscape and the ongoing variability in stability data.  Nearly all 165 stability monographs have been completely updated, including 11 new stability monographs. Chapters on applying stability data in patient care and parenteral nutrition have been updated. Previously unpublished data for specific types of infusion devices and containers have been included. 

Accurate Rx Pharmacy Qualifies as SPHI-CoE in Immune Disorders. 

Chicago IL and Columbia MO, October 2017.  Upon review of Accurate Rx Pharmacy's Excellence Qualification Report (EQR) and subsequent addenda, the organization has again qualified as a Specialty Pharmacy & Home Infusion Center of Excellence (SPHI-CoE) in Immune Disorders (IG), effective 10/10/2017 through 10/31/2019.   The SPHI-CoE program is a consultative process by which a Specialty Pharmacy or Home Infusion organization is provided specific criteria and is coached to assure the inclusion of therapy-specific standards into its practice, develop and promote staff expertise, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and become known for excellence in therapy-specific patient care within the community.

Nowobilski-Vasilios re-certifies as BCNSP.
